Professional Nursing Agency (PNA) provides a high level of service to our clients. As part of our Risk Management Strategy, PNA has a major commitment to the Education, Training and Professional Development of our staff, ensuring staff are equipped with the essential skills and knowledge required to perform the duties of their stated position.
Mandatory Training is aimed at
Enhancing the provision of safe care to all clients.
Ensuring the maintenance of a safe, healthy work environment by appropriate risk management.
Maintaining compliance with legislation and contractual obligations.
Mandatory Training requirements for all staff include
Manual Handling
On commencement of employment and every 2 years
Basic Life Support (CPR)
On commencement of employment and annually.
First Aid Certificate
Must have a current certificate and renew every 3 years.
Infection Control & Hand Hygiene
On commencement of employment and annually.
Fire and Emergency Procedures
On commencement of employment and annually.
Online Learning
Links to various Online Learning Programs will be made available to staff to promote professional development in those areas that are deemed mandatory in the profession.
